Our Mission
To ensure access to high-quality learning, resources, and support so that all students have what they need to succeed. At HCISD, students begin their journey to 21st century success in a safe environment that strives to promote engaged learning.
Our Vision
To prepare students for life beyond the classroom with real-world learning, college credit, and career-focused pathways. We emphasize college and career readiness with the incorporation of real life situations to allow the development of critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
Secondary Alternative Center serves students in grades 6-12 who need alternative educational settings with individualized support services. The school offers both in-person and online instruction options with career-focused pathways.
