Harlingen School of Health Professions

Powered by HCISD AI

Hi, everyone. My name

is Daniela Sanchez. I'm

a senior here at

Harlingen School of Health

Professions. And this is

Champions check in. Let's

go. Welcome to our

common area. This is

where our students are

able to study and

collaborate together, even if

it's like this, which

is something not all

the other campuses have.

What's unique to our

school is that we

have a flag in

the comments for every

college that we've had

a student attend. Oh

my gosh. Let me

show you my favorite

room. Let's head upstairs.

Welcome to the Zen

room. Here, students,

students are able to

learn more about

understanding their feelings,

how to have a

growth mindset, and far

more topics to stay

in tune with their

mental health. This is

our medical assisting class

where students have hands

on experiences with surgical

mannequins. They're able to

learn how to administer

medications and treat their

patients. Hey, Alex. Hey,

Sydney. Alex and Sydney

are making and trimming

impressions on their

mannequin Dexter. This is

pretty cool. It's how

our students learn how

to prep for retainers

and braces. Now we're

gonna go to my

Pathway pharmacy. So this

is our pharmacy classroom.

In here we learn

how to prepare drugs,

how to pack them,

and even how to

count them correctly. Welcome

to our information literacy

center where we have

access to cool gadgets

like the Glowforge plus

a 3D laser printer,

and even private study

rooms for students to

use as they wish.

The coolest part about

health professions is that

all the students here

are like minded in

that they are driven.

We've had an A

rating since we've been

open, which is something

we're extremely proud of.

Today. Oh, Ms. Garza.

Didn't see you there.
