Dishman Elementary is a National Blue Ribbon School located in Combes, Texas, recognized for academic excellence. The school serves the rural community with a focus on strong academic foundations and character development.

Campus Principal
Antonia Salas
Bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies with a mathematics minor, plus a master's in education administration from The University of Texas-Pan American
Salas has 26 years in education with 21 years of service in HCISD. Most recently, she served as principal resident at Dr. Cano Freshman Academy. Her career includes seven years as assistant principal at Austin Elementary and ten years in the same role at Jefferson Elementary.
