Crockett Elementary honors David Crockett (1786-1836), the legendary American frontiersman, politician, and defender of the Alamo. Known as the 'King of the Wild Frontier,' his legacy of determination and service inspires the campus community. As a cornerstone of educational opportunity in west Harlingen, Crockett Elementary has established a long-standing tradition of academic excellence, focusing on high achievement and fostering strong connections between home, school, and the community.
