Coakley Middle School offers Project Lead The Way curriculum and comprehensive STEM programming including robotics competitions. The school provides diverse academic pathways preparing students for high school success.

Elizabeth Minto-Bauer
Bachelor's in History, Master's in Guidance and Counseling, Master's in Educational Leadership, Currently pursuing Doctorate through Texas Tech University
Elizabeth Minto-Bauer is a bold servant leader who recently boosted teacher confidence and drove a 22% improvement in student performance at Coakley Middle School. She has worked in education for nearly two decades and spent 16 of those years at HCISD, serving as a teacher at Vela Middle School, counselor at Austin Elementary and Gutierrez Middle School, and assistant principal at Harlingen High School and Dr. Cano Freshman Academy.
